About qcSpecs.

qcSpecs is led by an architect with thirty years in practice: on the boards, running project teams, coordinating consultants, and answering for the documents in the field.

That work came before specifications: project architecture and project management, taking construction documents through public agency review and many local building departments. It shapes how we write. A specification is an instruction to the trade that will bid it, build it, and send an RFI when it doesn’t make sense, and we write it for them.

qcSpecs is a remote practice, working one project at a time or on an ongoing basis.

Send us your documents

Tell us about the project. Drawings help the quote a great deal: let us know what stage they are at, and when the set we will write against is expected. If you have them, include the cover sheet, the construction value, a target issue date, and your consultants’ section list. Without drawings, we can give a preliminary quote from your description to help your planning, and revisit it when the drawings arrive.

Your documents are kept on our own equipment, not in a public cloud drive. When AI helps with the reading, it runs through a paid commercial service under our own account, not a free public tool. If you prefer, blank out client names and flatten the PDF before you send it.
