For architects and designers.
A set that agrees with itself before it goes to bid. Drawings and specifications that don’t contradict each other, RFIs and change orders minimized, and specifications you can defend in construction administration.
Sets have grown past what anyone can check and coordinate by hand. We read your whole set and send you the questions it raises before we write. You answer them on the drawings, or give us your decision, and the specifications are written to match. We write to your office’s format and conventions.
When to bring us in
- Design Development. The Front End, if you want it, can start now.
- 50% CD. The best time for the report. There is enough drawn to read, and time left to act on the answers.
- 90 to 95% CD. The report and the specifications, written against the set you will issue.
- 100% CD, or a set already out. A report still helps before the next issuance, though by then it works more as a check than as coordination.
Typical fees for tenant improvements, commercial and public work are on the Fees page.
