How the fees work
- The report is a flat fee, prepaid, and credited in full against the specifications.
- The number of sections comes from the report. You approve the table of contents before writing starts, and we write what is on it.
- Architectural technical sections only. Structural, civil, landscape and MEP sections come from your consultants. The Front End is quoted separately.
What moves the number
- The state of the drawings. Missing schedules, marks that do not resolve, details that contradict the plans.
- Building type. Some sections take an afternoon, and some take a week.
- How much is decided. Products selected and scheduled cost less to specify than products still open.
